Hey all! It’s that time of year again. The air is growing chill, the sun rises sec­onds later each morning, the leaves are begin­ning to turn. We all know what that means:

That’s right, it’s time for New York Comic Con! And once again, I am a Fea­tured Lit­erary Guest!

I’ll post this info to my SITREP page as well, but as NYCC is my favorite major con, I am crowing about it here as well. They aren’t kid­ding when they call it the biggest pop-culture event of the year. It’s a true dose of Nerd­vana and I’ve loved it since I first started going years ago.

I’m diving in deep this year, with events on 3 out of the 4 days of the con. I hope you’ll come out and shake my hand, let me sign a book, or pose in cos­tume with me (you in the cos­tume. I’ll be rocking the t-shirt and jeans per usual).

PANEL: JUSTICE IS SERVED

Cops, P.I.’s, gov­ern­ment agents and reg­ular Joe’s (or Jane’s) fight for all that is good and just in these Science-Fiction and Fan­tasy tales, even if the vil­lains are vam­pires, telepaths, and the mag­i­cally gifted. These pro­tag­o­nists solve crimes, kick-ass, and don’t let anyone–supernatural or otherwise–stand in the way of jus­tice.

GEEK GEEK REVOLUTION: THE SEQUEL

GEEK REVOLUTION is a ques­tion based game-show fea­turing four sci­ence fic­tion and/or fan­tasy authors com­peting for the chance to be TOP GEEK. Led by Queen Geek Colleen Lindsay authors will be asked a series of pop culture/geek ques­tions. In addi­tion the audi­ence will also be asked to ‘write-in’ ques­tions in hopes of stumping the authors and win­ning a prize pack of books.
